Biomechanical evaluation: $150

This often includes video analysis of gait. Results are sent to your prescribing physician and/or physical therapist. You may request a copy to facilitate communication with other health care professionals.

Follow up visits for further consultations are $100/hr.

Biomechanical evaluation and custom foot orthoses: $550 (as of July 2024)

We provide the most comprehensive work-up in the field. Turnaround time from evaluation to fitting is typically two to three weeks. This includes:

• Structural analysis, muscle eval, ROM (range of motion) assessment and Berkemann Imprints (when appropriate),
• Video gait analysis when indicated for more complex cases
• Casting visit; preferred technique is prone subtalar neutral
• Custom fabrication by Footco; lab work is NOT sent out
• Fitting visit with review of video freeze frames and exercise recommendations when indicated
• Up to 3 recheck visits in the first year

Duplicate pairs of orthoses: $325 (as of July 2024)

The current price for duplicates is based on the increasing cost of materials and overhead. Footco continues to use only the finest materials available but tariff increase over the past several years have driven up the cost of materials, most of which are imported from Europe.

Hybrid orthotic designs vary in price. Hybrid orthoses are made for more complicated foot and ankle configurations.

Shoe modifications vary in price due to the wide variety of shoe designs and the many modifications that can be implemented. Typical price for a full-length sole lift or rocker sole is $150

Old orthoses refurbishing: if your orthoses were made by Footco, there is no charge for restoring them in the first 2 years. After that the fee to restore the top covers and alignment is $100 if the orthoses were made by Footco.
